GENERATOR INSTALLATION
How long was your power out?
Wentzel Electric offers several options to prevent the headaches that a power failure can bring. We
offer digital portable power for an inexpensive way to keep the necessary items powered for a short
power outage.

Critical Circuit Backup Model Price

You will need to decide if you would like an Automatic Transfer Switch or Manual Transfer Switch
generator.

With a Manual Transfer Switch, when the power goes out, you will need to start your generator and
manually connect it to the transfer switch. You then will switch your house over to generator power.
When the utility power is restored you will need to switch your home back to utility power and turn
off your generator.

With an Automatic Transfer Switch, everything is fully automatic. When the utility goes out, the
transfer switch signals your generator to start. Once the generator is running the transfer switch
automatically connects your business to the generator. When the utility power is restored, the
transfer switch reconnects your business to the utility. Then it will turn off your generator and will
wait patiently for the next power outage.
